Bandarban (Bengali: বান্দরবান) is a district in Chittagong Division of South-Eastern Bangladesh. Bandarbaan is hill tracts area of bangladesh. There are many Tribes living in Bandarbaan. They have their own language and culture. Water fall, Meghla, Buddhist Stupa, Bhum tribal village, Shaila propat, Bogha lake, Chimbuk and the highest mountain of bangladesh Tahjin dong are great attraction of Bandarbaan. Tahjin dong is 4632 ft high.

Baldha Garden is established in old Dhaka named Wari, the unique creation of the late Narendra Narayan Roy, the property owner of Baldha; the year of establishment of this garden was on 1904. This garden has a rich collection of indigenous and exotic plants, which is one of the most exciting attractions for naturalists and tourists. A number of varieties tree are there in this garden. Near about 18,000 plants of 800 species are there in the garden. It is open from 8:00 am-5:00 pm, 7 days a week.

The elegant 6-domed mosque was build a long time ago.The mosque is (13m x 11m) sq metersAdam in Rampal near Dhaka was erected by one Malik Kafur during the reign of the last llyas Shahi Sultan, Jalauddin Fateh Shah in 1483 A.D.The mosque was erected by Malik Kafur during the reign of the last Ilyas Shahi Sultan, Jalauddin Fateh Shah in 1483 AD.It displays the same characteristic features of the period such as the faceted octagonal turrets at 4 corners, the curved cornice. The one facade and 3 mihrabs relieved richly with beautiful terracotta floral and hanging patterns.

Several peoples were killed to protest against Pakistani soldiers to keep the writing of their expression through Bengali and to establish its recognition as state language of the then Dominion of Pakistan. After that the day has been observed as Language Movement Day in Bangladesh and latter the day was declared as the International Mother Language Day by UNESCO on 17 November in 1999.

Somapura Mahavihara_Paharpur

Somapura Mahavihara (Sanskrit; Bengali: সোমপুর মহাবিহার Shompur Môhabihar) in Paharpur is treated as the Largest Buddhist Seat of Learning of South Asia. It is a small village, 5 km west of Jamalganj in the greater Rajshahi district, where the remains of the most important and the largest known monastery south of the Himalayas has been excavated. This 7th century AD archaeological find covers an area of approximately 11 hectare. The entire establishment, occupying a Quadrangular court, measures more than 300 meters and varies from 3.5 to 4.5 meters in height with an elaborate gateway complex on the north, there are 45 cells on the north and 44 in each of the other three sides, with a total number of 177 rooms.
It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985.
