Bangladeshi software developing company wins int’l award

Southtech Limited, a local software developing company, was recently honoured with the International Arch of Europe Award for its commitment to quality, leadership, technology and innovation.

Business Initiative Directions (BID), a Spain-based organisation aiming at sharing quality culture in leading companies worldwide, handed over the award to Southtech during a function at Frankfurt in Germany recently, said a press release.

Syed Mamnun Quader, managing director and CEO of Southtech, received the award at the 37th International Arch of Europe Convention held at the InterContinental Frankfurt Hotel from June 26 to 27.

The managing director expressed gratitude to the company’s customers, shareholders for their outstanding support.

“I received the award on behalf of all those who work at Southtech, our loyal customers, our supportive shareholders and our business-friendly government, without whom we could not have this far” he said.

“We are firmly committed to develop quality software as it make our customers successful and allow them to move into positions of dominance in their business sectors,” he added.
