Guru Tomay Salam Last album of Azam Khan


Singer Azam Khan has left us physically but his works and songs always remind us about his legacy and more.

The singer who introduced pop music in the country and took the genre forward could not see his last album released.

On this Eid, Impress Audio Vision has brought out Guru Tomay Salam, the last album of Azam Khan. Banglalink subscribers will be able to listen to the songs by dialing 5858 from any Banglalink number. The album will be available in CD format soon.

The album contains seven songs. Out of which, six are solo tracks and one is a duet.

The songs of the album have been written by Abul Khair. Moni Zaman has done the music direction.

The album has been presented by Banglalink.

On the occasion of the release of the new album a press conference was held at Channel i office in Tejgaon.

Managing Director of Impress Tele-film Ltd and Channel i Faridur Reza Sagar, Head of Operations, PR and Communications of Banglalink Rashed Hasan, daughter of Azam Khan Ema Khan and gono sangeet singer Fakir Alamgir, among others, were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Faridur Reza Sagar said, “We are releasing the album as a mark of respect for freedom fighter and pop guru late Azam Khan. We are really grateful to be able to bring out the album.”

The songs in the album are Ami Bangladesher Azam Khan, Keu nesha korey na and O Ekushey February in the voice of Azam Khan. Amay tumi khujio, Shudhu pelam swadhinota and O jokhon tumi hasho in voice of Moni Zaman and a duet Ekushey February was sung by Azam Khan and Moni Zaman.
