Bangladesh Govt allocates over Tk 3.08b to BSCIC projects

The government has allocated more than Tk 3.08 billion to the implementation of nine projects under Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC), officials said.

Industries Minister Dilip Barua told the FE, "We have started working on land acquisition, earth filling, construction, training and loan disbursement. More than Tk 3.08 billion has been allocated to implement all the nine projects."

The nine projects are Leather Industrial Estate at Savar, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Park at Munshiganj, Benarasi Palli Development Project at Rangpur, Mirsarai Industrial Estate, Gopalgonj Industrial Estate Extension, Satranji Industry Development Project at Rangpur, Comilla Industrial Estate Extension, BSCIC Special Economic Zone at Kushtia and Sirajganj Industrial Park.
