Maldives wants direct link with Ctg port

Maldives have expressed keen interest in introducing direct shipping link between Bangladesh and Maldives to further promote and strengthen economic ties between the two countries.

“We can start direct shipping connectivity between Chittagong and Hithadhoo Port within weeks,” State Minister and Chairman of the Hithadhoo Port of Maldives Abdulla Shahid said while speaking as the chief guest at a meeting with directors of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) at the FBCCI conference room on Thursday.
